H2D vs H2D Pro
The flagship vs its $3,799 enterprise sibling
Which one should I buy?
The H2D Pro ($3,799 launch price, sold only through resellers, not sold in the Bambu store) is not a better H2D for enthusiasts; it is an enterprise SKU: tungsten-carbide nozzle, fleet/compliance positioning, business support. Private buyers should buy the standard H2D at $1,549 and spend the $2,250 difference on filament, AMS units, or nothing.

- Bambu does not label the axes of these outer dimensions (H2D 492 × 514 × 626 mm, H2D Pro 492 × 514 × 626 mm); read as width × depth × height. Schematic outline; only the outer dimensions are Bambu's figures.

What Pro actually means here
Hardware-wise the Pro shares the H2D platform: same volume, speed, temperatures, chamber. The differences are enterprise-shaped: a tungsten carbide nozzle (HRA 90 vs 74 for hardened steel, about 50% longer life on abrasive filaments per Bambu), an Ethernet port, WPA2-Enterprise/802.1X with a removable network module, a bundled Vision Encoder plate, AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT, plus the sales/support wrapper businesses need (procurement, fleet management, service terms).
For an individual, the standard H2D already ships with hardened steel nozzles, and the Vision Encoder plate and AMS units can be bought separately for a fraction of $2,250; wired and enterprise networking cannot be added. The Pro exists so companies can buy Bambu without friction, not to out-print the H2D on a desk.

AMS note
No AMS difference: Bambu's H2D Pro spec page lists the same second-generation AMS 2 Pro (plus the AMS HT) that the standard H2D uses. Check current bundle contents before ordering either.

What changed
Newest first, from this page's version history. Only changes to text you can read here; date refreshes and reshuffled reading links are left out.
- Pro differences itemized: tungsten carbide nozzle (HRA 90 vs 74 for hardened steel, about 50% longer life on abrasives per Bambu), Ethernet and WPA2-Enterprise/802.1X; the H2D has no Lidar (was yes).
- AMS corrected: Bambu's H2D Pro spec page lists the same AMS 2 Pro (plus AMS HT) as the standard H2D (was AMS 2.0 in enterprise bundles); both have two switching hotends.
- Spec table: both enclosures now listed with G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA and carbon filtration (was industrial).
Earlier changes
- H2D Pro price now labeled as its $3,799 launch price; it is sold only through resellers, not in the Bambu store.
- Spec table: build volume corrected to 325 × 320 × 325 mm for both (was 350 × 320 × 325 mm).
