These terms apply to the BambuHub community forum at forum.bambuhub.net. By creating an account or posting, you agree to them. The forum is operated by Benjamin Straatmann (see the Impressum); how we handle your data is described in the community privacy policy.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your login details safe. Provide a valid email address. One person, one account. You must be old enough to consent to data processing in your country (between 13 and 16, depending on the EU country) or have your parents' consent.
Acceptable use
Be civil and helpful. Do not post spam, advertising, illegal content, malware, or anything that harasses, threatens, or discriminates against others. Do not impersonate other people or scrape the forum. Keep posts roughly on topic (Bambu Lab printers and 3D printing).
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive right to display and store your content as part of running the forum. You confirm you have the right to post it. Posts are public and may be indexed by search engines.
Moderation
We may edit, move, or remove content and suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or the law. How we do this and how we inform you is described in the next section. We are not obligated to monitor content in advance and are not responsible for content posted by users (in line with the liability limits of Section 7 of the German Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz (DDG) together with Articles 4 to 8 of the EU Digital Services Act, Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).
Contact point, reporting and moderation (EU Digital Services Act)
Contact point. Our single point of contact under Articles 11 and 12 of the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065), for forum users as well as for authorities of the EU member states, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, is contact@bambuhub.net. You can write to us in German or English, by email or through the contact form linked in the Impressum. Your message is read and answered by a person, not by an automated system.
Reporting illegal content. Anyone can report content on the forum that they consider illegal. With a forum account, use the flag button below the post and choose “Illegal”. Without an account, email contact@bambuhub.net. Please include the link (URL) to the content, an explanation of why you consider it illegal, your name and email address (not required for reports concerning the sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of children), and a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your report is accurate and complete. If we have your email address, we confirm receipt without undue delay. We review every report carefully and objectively and tell you our decision and how you can challenge it.
How we moderate. The forum is moderated by its operator (see the Impressum). We do not review posts before they appear. Discourse, the forum software, also acts automatically: a post that enough members flag can be hidden automatically and then goes to our review queue, where a moderator decides on it, and new accounts have limits (for example on the number of links and posts) that keep out spam. Reports of illegal content are always decided by a person. We apply these terms carefully, objectively and proportionately, with due regard to the rights and interests of everyone involved, including freedom of expression.
If we restrict your content or account. If we remove, hide or limit the visibility of your content, or suspend or close your account, because we consider the content illegal or incompatible with these terms, we send you a clear and specific statement of reasons by email or forum message, at the latest when the restriction takes effect. It tells you what we did and for how long, the facts behind the decision, whether it followed a report and whether automated means were used, the rule in these terms or the law it is based on, and how you can challenge it. This does not apply to spam (deceptive high-volume commercial content). You can ask us to review any decision by replying to our message or writing to contact@bambuhub.net; a person looks at it again and tells you the result. You can also take legal action before the courts.
Affiliate links and advice
BambuHub is an independent resource and may use affiliate links on the main site. Anything posted on the forum, by us or by other users, is community information, not professional or safety advice. 3D printers involve heat and moving parts; follow the manufacturer's instructions and use your own judgement.
No warranty, limited liability
The forum is provided "as is" without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the forum, except for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or covered by mandatory statutory liability. This does not limit our liability for injury to life, body or health caused by our negligence, or under the German Product Liability Act.
Changes
We may update these terms and announce significant changes in the forum. The date at the top reflects the last update. German law applies. If you use the forum as a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you have your habitual residence (Art. 6(2) Rome I Regulation).

Moderation: Wir dürfen Inhalte bearbeiten, verschieben oder entfernen und Konten sperren oder schließen, die gegen diese Bedingungen oder geltendes Recht verstoßen; wie wir dabei vorgehen und Sie informieren, steht in den folgenden Absätzen. Für Nutzerinhalte sind wir nicht verantwortlich (§ 7 DDG i. V. m. Art. 4-8 Verordnung (EU) 2022/2065).

Rechtswidrige Inhalte melden: Jede Person kann Inhalte im Forum melden, die sie für rechtswidrig hält: mit Forumskonto über die Meldefunktion unter dem Beitrag (Auswahl „Illegal“), ohne Konto per E-Mail an contact@bambuhub.net. Bitte geben Sie den Link (URL) zum Inhalt an, begründen Sie, warum Sie ihn für rechtswidrig halten, nennen Sie Ihren Namen und Ihre E-Mail-Adresse (entfällt bei Meldungen zu sexuellem Missbrauch oder sexueller Ausbeutung von Kindern) und erklären Sie, dass Sie in gutem Glauben von der Richtigkeit und Vollständigkeit Ihrer Angaben überzeugt sind. Kennen wir Ihre E-Mail-Adresse, bestätigen wir den Eingang unverzüglich. Wir prüfen jede Meldung sorgfältig und objektiv und teilen Ihnen unsere Entscheidung mit, samt der Möglichkeiten, dagegen vorzugehen.
So moderieren wir: Das Forum moderiert sein Betreiber (siehe Impressum). Beiträge werden nicht vorab geprüft. Die Forensoftware Discourse handelt auch automatisch: Ein Beitrag, den genug Mitglieder melden, kann automatisch ausgeblendet werden und landet dann zur Prüfung bei der Moderation, die darüber entscheidet; neue Konten unterliegen Grenzen (etwa bei der Zahl von Links und Beiträgen), die Spam abhalten. Über Meldungen rechtswidriger Inhalte entscheidet immer ein Mensch. Wir wenden diese Bedingungen sorgfältig, objektiv und verhältnismäßig an und berücksichtigen die Rechte und Interessen aller Beteiligten, auch die Meinungsfreiheit.
Begründung bei Beschränkungen: Entfernen, verbergen oder beschränken wir Ihre Inhalte oder sperren oder schließen wir Ihr Konto, weil wir die Inhalte für rechtswidrig oder mit diesen Bedingungen unvereinbar halten, erhalten Sie spätestens mit der Maßnahme per E-Mail oder Forumsnachricht eine klare und konkrete Begründung: was wir getan haben und für wie lange, die Tatsachen, auf denen die Entscheidung beruht, ob sie auf eine Meldung zurückgeht und ob automatisierte Mittel beteiligt waren, die Regel dieser Bedingungen oder die Rechtsvorschrift, auf die wir uns stützen, und wie Sie dagegen vorgehen können. Das gilt nicht für Spam (irreführende, massenhaft verbreitete kommerzielle Inhalte). Sie können uns bitten, jede Entscheidung erneut zu prüfen, per Antwort auf unsere Nachricht oder per E-Mail an contact@bambuhub.net; ein Mensch sieht sie sich dann erneut an und teilt Ihnen das Ergebnis mit. Der Rechtsweg zu den Gerichten bleibt offen.
Änderungen: Wir können diese Bedingungen ändern und kündigen wesentliche Änderungen im Forum an. Das Datum oben nennt die letzte Aktualisierung.
Keine Beratung, Haftung: Forum-Inhalte sind Community-Informationen, keine Fachberatung. Das Forum wird ohne Gewähr bereitgestellt; Haftung nur bei Vorsatz oder grober Fahrlässigkeit bzw. zwingender gesetzlicher Haftung. Unberührt bleibt die Haftung für Schäden aus der Verletzung des Lebens, des Körpers oder der Gesundheit, die auf einer fahrlässigen Pflichtverletzung beruhen, sowie nach dem Produkthaftungsgesetz.
