About BambuHub
What this site is, who it's for, and what we're not.
What is BambuHub?
An independent community resource for Bambu Lab 3D printer owners. Specs, honest reviews, troubleshooting guides, and tools. Not affiliated with Bambu Lab.
Who writes BambuHub
BambuHub is written and checked by our editorial team. Responsible editor: Benjamin (see the Impressum for the editorially responsible person).
How we work
- Primary sources. Our rule for every number, price and spec: it comes from a primary source, such as Bambu Lab's spec pages and technical data sheets (TDS), the Bambu Lab Wiki, the product pages of the Bambu Lab store or official announcements on the Bambu Lab forum.
- Tested or not. Our rule: "tested by us" only for what we have actually printed with ourselves, "not tested by us" for everything else.
- Corrections. Found a mistake? Tell us through the contact form. We fix it, and a corrected article shows an "Updated" date under its headline.
- Affiliate links. Buy buttons to the Bambu Lab store are affiliate links through Sovrn Commerce, and as an Amazon Associate, BambuHub earns from qualifying purchases. Both can earn us a commission at no extra cost to you; they never decide what we recommend (details in the disclosure below).
- AI tools. We use AI tools to research, draft and check pages. A human editor reviews every new article before it goes live, and every published fact has to match the source we cite.
We document specs, share honest assessments, and provide practical guides written by people who actually run these machines. The official docs skip the stuff that matters day-to-day: which materials work reliably, what firmware changes actually mean, which printer is worth buying vs. which has better marketing.
We write like a knowledgeable friend, not like a corporate spec sheet.
We've personally tested most of what we recommend. It's on the site because it actually works. Some things we haven't had the chance to test yet, whether that's a printer model we haven't gotten our hands on or a product we simply haven't had the time with. For those, we go by what the community agrees on, trusted reviewers, and real user feedback. You'll always know which is which.
We're always looking to test more, and that includes stuff manufacturers send us. But whether someone paid for a review or not doesn't change what we say about it. If it's bad, we'll say it's bad. Simple as that.
- Write what's actually true, even when it's unflattering to Bambu or any other manufacturer
- Explain the Authorization Control situation honestly
- Keep specs current as the lineup changes
- Affiliate links are marked and never influence recommendations
- Direct answers, no "it depends" hedging
- Acknowledge when we don't know something
- Update pages when facts change
We are not affiliated with Bambu Lab. No editorial direction from anyone. We can still earn money from Bambu Lab sales: buy buttons to the Bambu Lab store are affiliate links through Sovrn Commerce, so a purchase there can earn us a commission. Links to Amazon are Amazon Associates links and can earn us a commission too. Neither costs you anything extra. This helps us cover the costs of running the site and never influences what we recommend.
We accept products for sponsored reviews. Sponsorship covers testing time but never influences the verdict. Always clearly labeled.
BambuHub is a static site. No cookies, no advertising, no cross-site tracking. We use self-hosted, cookieless analytics that only records anonymous, aggregate usage; for visits routed outside the EU, EEA, Switzerland and the UK, our host Cloudflare also measures page load performance without cookies. Fonts are self-hosted, so nothing is loaded from Google. See the full privacy policy.
