H2D vs H3C
Two switching nozzles vs nine tools
Which one should I buy?
The H2D ($1,399, typical price $1,549) covers two materials and soluble supports with two switching nozzles. The H3C ($2,499, sold only with its nine-slot AMS 3H) keeps nine PrintTools loaded and adds a 2.85 mm tool for soft TPU. Two materials per part: the H2D, for much less. Three or more per job, or soft TPU: the H3C.

Two nozzles or nine tools
The H2D's dual-nozzle switching covers soluble supports and two-material parts; more colors come from the AMS, with a full flush for every color beyond the two nozzles. The H3C keeps nine materials loaded in their own PrintTools and switches in as little as 6 seconds by Bambu's figure. It still primes after every change: CNC Kitchen measured about 50 mg per change on the prime tower.
Build volume: 325 × 320 × 325 mm on the H2D against 330 × 320 × 325 mm on the H3C. The H3C costs $1,100 more than the standalone H2D at current US store prices. The H3C price includes its AMS 3H, so like for like, compare it with the H2D AMS Combo at $1,599.
